my latest project! i created this mixtape originally for my college friends as a graduation gift, but gave them out to hometown friends as well. i went through many trials and tribulations(!) to have this come together, what with deliberating on design for hours (though it's very simple, i know, i'm just a bit of a perfectionist), getting them printed and cutting them out precisely, then folding and gluing, all while the weather was so hot that i was afraid my sweaty hands would ruin the paper, and running into issues burning (and wasting :^|) cd-rs. it is a labor of love, though, so i'm really not very bothered at all. picking the songs initially was also easily the best part of the process and i'm proud of the playlist and how the thing's turned out overall. my hopes for my friends listening are that they discover something new that they end up loving, and that they enjoy the laid-back, summery vibes i've attempted to curate. think driving along the coast with your windows down on a breezy day... not a care in the world... with the temperature at 85°F, max, optimally (29.444°C for my metric system friends).

i'm providing the files for you to download if you'd like to put one together yourself. make sure to print the jacket file front and back, as i made these for clear jewel cases. lastly, i just used a gluestick (elmer's 2x strength! it's pretty good) for the disc labels, and it was quite seamless. shouldn't be an issue with your player.
